| State of the Spirit www.menschwork.org Passover 2020/5780 Dear Brothers/Achim (אחים), Passover is the story of our Resiliency as a Jewish people, retold as an example for us and all peoples today. Beginning with the first Seder this Wednesday evening, we gather, perhaps in a different form than in past years, to commemorate the Will to Continue that the exodus from Egypt exemplifies. Many of us may be experiencing a wide range of feelings. Perhaps our fears can be tempered by the many stories in our history of human beings, with the help of God, overcoming so many obstacles. Invitation from the Chair As we enter the sacred spiritual family time of Passover, Menschwork’s Wisdom Council remains strong in our commitment to support men in their search to be Mensches and grow in their personal Compassion, Integrity and Spirit. As you so well know, these times are presenting us with experiences and challenges we may not have faced previously in our lives. Menschwork now offers a weekly program, MenschGroups, to provide Jewish men with the opportunity to check-in with our brothers. MenschGroups meets every Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). JMR29 Menschwork is continuing to plan that we, as brothers, will gather together on November 13, 2020 in Falls Village, Connecticut, to joyously welcome Shabbat at JMR29. The JMR29 Planning Committee is working hard to plan a safe, magical, and spirited retreat, so make sure to set aside the weekend. The various planning committees are in full swing.
