Mensch Day

Learn to Be a Better Mensch —
at Mensch Day!

To be a mensch is an aspiration of Jewish men looking to live with integrity, compassion and spirit. Yet, although our tradition teaches us to love our neighbor and care for the stranger, embracing menschlichkeit in our daily lives often eludes us.

That’s why attending Mensch Day can be such an enriching experience. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to share personal stories and give encouragement and support to other men who like you, aspire to be a mensch. Plus, it will be loads of fun, too!

The Mensch Day program is modeled after the Jewish Men’s Retreat (JMR), a gathering that takes place annually in the Northeast. Like at the JMR, men meet in small support groups and can attend Pathways workshops ranging from Drumming Your Prayers to Torah Yoga to Exploring Themes of Tikkun Olam and Tikkun Nefesh — designed to help you take the next steps on your Jewish spiritual journey.
